Teresa has extensive experience in the natural environment covering education, field survey, marine and terrestrial nature conservation, biodiversity strategy, development planning, project management and stakeholder engagement.
Before starting Natural Values in 2007, Teresa worked for the statutory nature conservation bodies and prior to that the Field Studies Council. She has worked on a range of initiatives including the Coastwatch project and the Marine Nature Conservation Review of Great Britain. Her development planning work has involved application of nature conservation legislation such as the Habitats Regulations, Environmental Impact Assessment and Sustainable Development. She previously chaired the Kent Biodiversity Partnership.
Throughout her career, Teresa has worked with people to further knowledge and understanding of our environment and to promote the conservation of natural resources. She is particularly interested in the multifunctional use of natural spaces for the delivery of ecosystem services.
